This tiny tube amp setup is about the synergy of low cost components that together can create a surprisingly good sounding system.

The tiny tube amp is a MiniWatt S1 with some vintage tubes.

I feed it uncompressed WAV audio files off either my low cost SanDisk Sansa Clip+ (about $35 on Amazon) or my Colorfly C3 portable player (you can purchase them on ebay). The Colorfly has a primitive user interface but I got it for its sound quality.

I connect the amp to a pair of vintage KEF Coda 7 bookshelf sized speakers, which I got off Ebay for about $80. I listen to this setup in a near field arrangement.

The tiny MiniWatt playing WAV files thru the Coda 7 speakers sounds really good.
